I've noticed a few people posting shots of the grand canyon this year and one thing I've noticed more than anything is the absence of all the smog.

Are things getting better or are people just getting lucky and getting there when the wind has blown it out?

one thing I've noticed more than anything is the absence of all the smog.

Hit or miss. I've been to Tuweep when I couldn't even see the river, yet done the R-R-R in the most perfectly clear air available.

Thanks for the comments everyone I have only been here since May of 2008 but that was my 2nd trip there. I'm hoping to actually go down into the Canyon sometime.
