Grays & Torreys | Bierstadt. Morning 31 July 2007?

CO Front Range pre-work morning hike on Tuesday, 31 July 07. I plan to start at the base of either Bierstadt or Grays & Torreys roughly 6am, and be back on the highway by 11-Noon to work late.

Anyone game? Call in sick to work for the morning, and show up like you just broke a fever. July in CO, no better times.

I was holding off to see how I felt, but I think I have to pass. I've been fighting a stomach bug for a week+ and don't want to push it.

1. Looking up to Torreys,
2. Looking down into the valley and to the main trail. Kelso ridge route is on the left hand ridge,
3. Nothing like a good hot Chai and breakfast at 14k',
4. Looking over to Grays with it's lee switchbacks does anyone recognize the mountains on the next range over?
5. Unfotunately, not a very clear day, Mt. Evans in the background,
6. Mountain goat decided to do lead a good way of the Gray's saddle trail.
