As previously mentioned, in the victron alternator video, they are running that alternator at 2x slower than its normal idle speed. Of course it overheated.... Bit dishonest really.

@luthj was just pointing a few things out to round out the picture. I don't think he was claiming Will is a flack for Renogy, or that Victron is a fly by night operation.
