Make our own or spend another $25 on top of the high cost of the chair?

I have wiffle balls but don't enjoy carrying them around.

looks cool for sand if it was muddy kinda dirt would not want to roll it back up with my chair though
for that super dusty AZ dirt we get in some spots that can be a bit sinky not sure again i would want to roll it back up with my chair ?
could be easy to test construct one out of some shade cloth for cheap

I am interested in one of those chairs,saw this picture of some PVC ,somewhere, when checking the chairs out.

my other helinox chairs I wrote up I did golf balls and has worked really well no taking on or off etc..
I tried the pipe thing a long time ago does not work in anything but sand I felt cause in most ground even when soft it kinda rocked a bit because of something in the middle ? and I hate taking things on and off which for me would be the issue with this ? but if in sand one might not have a lot of choices

A good point about using the PVC in sand,I forgot to mention that,sand is where I will be using the PVC.
