Newbie here its my first post Love the site lots of great info been surfing for awhile before joining. I'm an avid ATVer and will be doing some camping excursions and have been getting some great ideas off the site.I've been building a atv trailer and want to mount a RTT on it ( also to use on the Dodge/Tahoe) . Does anyone have any expierience with the Hannibal RTT and how do they compare to Easy-awn. There is a distributor about 2 hours from me which I will check out soon . Looking for some input Any is appreciated thanks.

For the environment I travel in most often the Hannibal tent has been perfect. We have over 50 sleeps in it this year alone and it has worked flawlessly every time. The spring issue of the Overland Journal had a very nice comparison of 5 of the top RTT's, it may be worth checking out if you're willing to drop the coin on a RTT. I've never spent time in an Eezi-awn so I can't comment as to how they compare, all I can say is the Hannibal is a quality tent.

Welcome to the Portal

The Eezi Awn has an extruded aluminum track mounted to the base that is used for the mounting to a roof rack. The supplied hardware is basically 4 bolts, washers and nylocks. You have to drill through the rack to mount it.

We have produced our own mounting hardware that uses the same extrusion but acts like a U bolt with a lower plate that clamps onto the roof rack. It's a lot cleaner this way and allows for adjustment, removal, and fitment to a wide range of racks.

The Hannibal and Eezi Awn are going to be very comparable in the weight category for similar size tents

If you want more details you can check out our Roof Top Tent section on our web site: http://www.adventuretrailers.com/rooftent.html

Shipping costs on tents are around $150.00
