Hannibal 5' awning with sides

The awning has been on my truck for about 3 years and is in good (as opposed to 'very good' or 'excellent') condition. As you can see in the attached pics, there is a little surface rust on the end of the bar which attaches into the arms. The arms have surface scratches, but the canvas itself is in excellent condition. The 3 securing straps sewn into the awning cover have deteriorated in the sun and I now use nylon cargo straps (pictured).

The side panel assembly has only been used a few times and is in excellent condition. I'm also including (8) Snow Peak #50 tent stakes (new or near new condition). I used these longer stakes since the height of my vehicle put the side panel bottoms about 6-8" off the ground. Original tent stakes will also be included.

Located in northern San Diego. I am not interested in shipping these items at this time due to size, but I will negotiate a fair driving distance to meet you for the exchange of goods, if necessary.

Asking $700.

PMs will be answered in order received.
Thanks,
Stephen

I love my Hannibal Awning (thanks Hltopper-Andrew) and gotta say these things are great.
I would almost get the 5 footer for the rear of my FJC but budget is really tight right now

El Gringo Spectacular!
Gents, these are excellent awnings, and are going to be like hen's teeth here in the US...if you want one, now's the time to jump on it!

Oooh, How tall are the side walls? My roof rack sits at about 7'6" off the ground. Is that taller or shorter than yours?
I'm wondering if the walls will even get close to the ground.

Gents,

There was more interest than I anticipated! But sorry Dendy, I'll be meeting a buyer Monday evening to give him the awning.

MB,
My rack is around the same height off the ground, give or take a few inches. You can see in the photos that the side walls were at least 6" off the deck. That number varies with the terrain, but up against the vehicle is min 6" from the ground. Hence the Snow Peak stakes, which have been the only sturdy, lengthy stakes I could find. The #50s are about 18" long which allows me to sink them in the ground enough to be of use. Seriously, they look like they could hold down a circus tent. Now that I've seen/used Snow Peak stakes, I'm pretty sold on them. I may just buy some more (smaller sizes of course) for my other tents...

I am curious about how the awning rolls up. Is it a spring which retracts the awning? Sort of like a roll up window shade?
Thanks

You simple roll it up by hand and then swing in the outer supporting arms.
