reading a lot of roof top tent build threads makes me wonder: anyone ever do a hard-sided tent? basically a tent made from plywood with the seams covered with waterproof material. it would fold up & down on hinges and have gasketing between the panels. lock in both up & down positions.

I have not but do plan to do one on my 6x12 trailer at some point. I want it to have pop up walls and roof and used steel or aluminum tube to hold it all up.
