Hardshell Recommendation

Expo, I'm in need of a new hard shell. I have a faithful ad still sturdy Arc Teryx Theta AR (I think) that is loosing its internal synching capabilities (glue is coming loose and I have shock cords hanging everywhere.

I'd like to fix it but not sure how. In the mean time I'd like to replace it with a new one and use the old one for work and trail duties.

All in ones are nice but I'm in FL most if the year and will use it primarily for rain. So the internals that make it toasty wont be ideal, but if removable then I'll consider it.

I just bought an Arcteryx Beta AR, hoping it lives up to all the claims.

I needed to replace a13 y/o NF mountain light and a crappy Columbia rain jacket that soaked through at a foot ball game (non gortex).
