IME the truck handles fine (even with no swaybars 
) and handles wind quite well, and the MPG hit is ~15%, with a fixed camper with 75" of headroom. The potential low branch issue is addressed by not mounting things on the roof. I'll probably end up getting a pole saw at some point for large low branches.
