Hardtop for 1979 FJ40

Hello Expeditioners! First I need some advice about the use of a 1973 hardtop for my 1979 FJ40. Are the top interchangeable and will and older top fit a later model vehicle? Also, any leads or suggestions out there for a 1979 hardtop for my LC? Thanks for the help. Alan neupsykat@cox.net

The short answer is no. For one thing, your '79 tub has the rounded corners for late-model ambulance doors, and the '73 hard top will have the old bi-fold door used with a rectangular tail gate.
