Hi!

I am a very excited and hapy new owner of a 1991 Land Cruiser 80 series with the awesome 3FE. I have just purchased the truck 4 days ago and have already been doing some work to her. New Water Pump,New Heater core (what a terrible job),new brakes and new cats. The truck has 245k on her and still runs great. I have travelled all of Europe and Africa top to bottom in Land Rovers and have always felt an infinity for the Land Cruiser. I am amazed that I have waited as long as I have to own one,what an amazing truck.

I will post up some pictures of her tomorrow to show her off a tad as I rather like her. Anyway...just wanted to stop in to say hello and enjoy and learn a bit from all the posts.

I recon I'm going to like it here.:smiley_drive:

Someone who appreciates the 3fe!! Congrats, looking forward to seeing pics of your project. Where did you source the cats/downpipes? I ask as I need to replace mine this spring.

Not too bad for $2k I think. The pics are rubbish as I used my phone but hopefully you can get a rough idea.

Question from a Land Cruiser newbe...are those headlamps OE?? I dont think so I havnt seen any like them,just curious.

It is a non california emissions truck so I could replace the two factory cats with a high flow dual in-single out cat system. As for the down pipes I have a very tallanted friend that re-made a set from standard exhaust automotive pipe.Saved me a ton of cash and it looks and sounds as she should.:elkgrin:

Definitely not OE. It's a unique look though. Do they come with HIDs?
