HELP!! Insulation a hightop van on a Budget.

Dream it build it
Currently with help from friends we have almost got my Hitop roof cut down to fit on the camper.

Since I have to cut the roof off I think it is time to insulate the van.

Insulation idea (metal/fibreglass inwards):

Outside wall - foam floor tile - lined bubble wrap - roofing material used for sound - panel - interior of van

Not sure if the floor tiles have any real r-value (been looking) but it is totally moisture resistant.

Please post any ideas or material links (very limited budget and in Vancouver Canada)

Here is the Current state of the VAN:

-Van is heated with a 10,000btu propane direct vent convection furnace
-Camp in mountains and rain on the west coast at the moment.

Wow That looks like it will be a nice build ! When our locksmith trucks get built we use regular fiberglass roll insulation and under a thin sheet of white fiberboard. Dont know if that will work for your build though.

How about building lightweight structure inside the fibreglass roof out of 1/8 plywood and fill out the void with spray insulation foam? Stain the wood panels and you already have a nice finish.
