Good evening from the UK. I'm in the market for a portable fire pit for an upcoming trip. I've done some research and the one that keeps on appearing with good reviews is the large sized Snow Peak. However, I like the look of the new(wish) Primus Kamono.
The SP is at the higher end of the price range as you need to buy the cooking surface separately. Here in the UK, it's coming in at around £238 or $306 delivered.
The Primus is coming in at £135 or $173 including a carry bag.
So the Primus is roughly half the price. I wonder - does anyone out there have experience of either / both and can make any recommendations? Is the SP really worth twice the price?
