Help Needed for Lost Land Rover Family

For those of you who don't remember, Dave Caouette, was tragically killed two years ago in a horrible shooting in Seal Beach, California, when a crazy gunman took the lives of several people. The shooter, has yet to stand trial. And now, two years later, another tragedy is unfolding with Dave's widow, Paula, who is about to lose her home. A fund raising campaign is underway to try and help her keep her home. A recent news story on KABC http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?section=news/local/orange_county&id=9389735 tells the story of what is unfolding. If you are moved to contribute, I urge you to visit http://www.gofundme.com/64fwu8 and give what you can to help this family. If you knew Dave, you know that he was truly "one of the good guys", and the offroading community has missed his presence in Southern California. Please help this family, who didn't deserve this.

Thanks

Thanks for sharing this Jim, I was unaware of this tragedy and wouldn't have been able to donate if you hadn't posted this. It is beyond words as to how sad this makes me feel. It could have been any one of us siting in our rover on that day. If every rover enthusiast donates the amount of one gas tank fill up, it could help this woman keep her home. Sorry to preach, I was just very saddened to learn about this.
