Hey Everyone,
I just picked up an older camper, that has a gray and black water tank. I went out this past weekend, and was testing systems. I found out among other issues, I noticed the gray and black water tanks leaking - leaking at the flange of where they connect to the tank. On my trip home, I stopped at an RV place to find out how things are put together since I didn't see any clamps. Apparently, they are glued.
There are several things I could do, including replacing the tanks (which I REALLY don't want to do) -
Clean area and see if I can carefully separate the pipe and the tank?
Clean area and use a marine sealant to re-seal?
Clean and use an epoxy for water based application?
Any insight or suggestions would be great.
Thanks!
