Well, I've done it again. This is a home built Expedition style camping/adventure trailer. Great for hunting trips, kayak fishing trips, or just a “bug out” trailer. It is built on a 4 foot by 6.5 foot, built from scratch, trailer frame with a 2000lb rated axle and 25 inch leaf springs for a softer haul and “5 on 4-1/2” bolt pattern hubs (older model Jeep rims will fit). 8 month project trailer was completed 06/12/25 and has never been slept in. 11’-6” total length (hitch to rear of frame), 68” wide at fenders, 71” to top of tent when closed, 74” to floor of tent when in raised position. Top down and front to back description- ROAM Vagabond XL roof top tent (Forest Green/Hyper Orange), includes king sized 3 inch memory foam mattress and annex room to expand your living space in inclimate weather ( ). Multi height tent rack raised and lowered, remotely or with manual switch, by (4)- 400 pound capacity linear actuators from Progressive Automations via a 4 channel control box. **No limit switches for this configuration**. When lowering the rack, you MUST stop the process manually once the top rack meets the lower rack. Also, when raising, you MUST stop the process when the support bars reach vertical. ARB Touring awning 8.2 feet by 8.2 feet with LED light strip. Spare tire carrier and full size spare tire behind the electrical/tongue box. 2 inch removable hitch couple. Fold away tongue jack. Tongue box- houses electrical supply for trailer and includes- DC House 12.8v 165ah LifePo4 battery with bluetooth connectivity- enables you to monitor battery life/charge/voltage, Ecoworthy 12v/20amp battery charger, battery disconnect switch, 6 circuit Blue Sea Systems ST blade ATO/ATC fuse panel, 4 gang aluminum rocker switch panel with backlit switches individually wired and fused, 12v accessory panel with USB ports. Main box- side door access to 12v Fridge slide-out with Set Power RV45S- 47qt refrigerator and storage beneath (interior light w/switch above door). Rear door access to kitchen slide-out and main storage area (interior light w/switch above rear door). Kitchen slide includes a drawer for camp stove and cutting board, a drawer for cups, plates, bowls, and cutlery (included). Both doors are weather sealed and door latches are keyed alike. 15X5 5-lug on 4.5” Black spoke trailer wheels, Tires- General Grabber A/T 205/75R15. Ground clearance- axle 12 inches, trailer frame 16 inches. This is not built for rugged terrain. It was built for State parks or forestry roads, not any serious offroading. Box exterior skin- 26ga painted metal (charcoal) with painted aluminum trim secured with stainless screws and sealed with butyl tape above and below metal siding. A lot of planning and trial and error went into this build. It was very time consuming but the end result is one excellent camping trailer with technological upgrades to make easy set up and breakdown for anyone. Just opening up the tent and awning prior to lifting, makes set up/tear down a breeze. Video walk through of set up on youtube here ( ) You can watch my walkthrough video here: ( ) Reminder: Coffee pot, cook pot/pan, Weber grill, camp stove, cutting board, water jug, Coleman kitchen, and folding table ARE NOT included. Asking price is $14,000.00- PM me if you or someone you know is interested.
