Homemade mounts for hard panniers

Has anyone made their own mounts for hard panniers. I'm getting custom panniers made as we speak and I am looking for different ideas for making me mounts. I have an '09 KLR650 but would love to see pics of any mounts.

Hockey pucks and an aluminum tab that locks the panniers to the tubular rack. The pucks (permanently mounted to the panniers) hold the panniers in place as they nest in the curved corners of the racks. Drill the center and run your locking mechanism through that (with a section of alumn flat bar so that when rotated, it holds the panniers to the racks). Trying to write an image here. Hope that made sense.

You can buy basically the same thing from some of the pannier suppliers I believe.

I have a set of these. They work well. Easy on and off.

Thanks. Sorry for not being on here lately. Actually been busy in the construction industry!!!!!! I should have the panniers in my hands by the end of the week and I'll start figuring out what will work best. I'm actually going to run ammo boxes for day to day and keep the big panniers for trips and such. The pucks definitely seem like the way that I want to go.
