homemade trailer for slide in camper

So I got cheap boat trailer in good condition I chopped it up so I m truing to make nice trailer for my slide in camper , so I can pull it with my car some time and move it around easier

It is slow process but almost done a lot ideas

Looks like its going to be an interested project goranvolvo. What are you going to do for storage?

Looks like you gotit going there! I would square off the front of the trailer, build a storage area under the bed of the camper. I'd think of adding more storage under the sides of the camper as well to slide on the trailer. A fixed storage area at the front of your trailer would still leave room to use the trailer, depends on what the other purpose is. Good luck with it, keep posting pics!

I have some plans for storage , yes there is a lot of room on the front for storage and some room on the side , only problem is the axle is rated for 2000 LBS , I did some extra work on the axle so it is stronger but I don’t want to over load it

I did some more work on the trailer , almost done , now next dilemma is the wheals , what size to get I have some extra one from my tow dooly but is seams big to me tire size is 175 75 13

Looks like a good plan but I'd be worried about the added axle brace hitting the one above it on a good bump..
