Honda crf 230

Ive been tossing around the idea of selling mine to finance some mods on the Jeep. So I was on eBay last night trying to see what they go for, and I stumbled upon a "dual sport conversion kit". Anyone ever done this? Is it very difficult? Would simply adding lights male this street legal in Tx? Just piqued my curiosity. I acquired the bike in a trade and have only ridden it once. BUT if I were able to ride on the street....to the trail...maybe it'd get ridden more.

Check with your State's laws to see what equipment is required.

AZ is pretty straight forward, don't even need turn signals.

I believe there is a street legal version of the 230, should be able to buy Honda parts as a direct bolt on.

Baja Designs or Trail Tech have conversion kits. Headlight, Brake light (and hydro-switch goes on the banjo fitting on the brake reservoir), turn signals...rewound stator if applicable. The stator is basically an alternator, need one that pumps out more watts to run lights. Basic tools all are that needed for the install.

This is for a KTM, but you get the idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bt0iUYBIiDI

EDIT: Yes there is a Street Legal version of your bike.
