House batteries

So I've been running 12 volt house batteries in my last couple of rigs and I'm thinking about what to do on the next one with the possibility of installing lifepo4 batteries, with the high charge acceptance in the early phase I really want to maximise amps in so I don't have to drive as far or often if I choose not to.

What have others done with 24volt trucks?

Trojan T145 6v golf cart. Lifepo4 are a great option if you can afford it, but because of weight not charge acceptance. Unless you have a huge charger the golf cart batteries will accept all you send them in the bulk phase, top off with solar. How many amp hrs do you need?

We're using 24v for the major camper items like pumps, inverters, solar, etc and use 2 x 24v to 12v step down transformers for the small 12v only stuff like lights and chargers. 24v = thinner wiring, less loss, and more efficient devices. It also allows you to use the full output of the alternator to charge your house batteries. (Or in our case, totally ditch the start batteries and just use the house batteries) Solar efficiency is another big selling point for lithium... you're not wasting solar when in absorption like LA can.
