How much does it cost to delete egr/dpf?

I’m shopping for a truck and can’t decide between a 5.9 or a 6.7 — both have their positives and are about the same price in the rigs I’m looking at. I wouldn’t mind the 6-spd auto in the 6.7, but I’m trying to figure out how much to delete a 6.7 Cummins (EGR/DPF) and whether it’s worth the cost.
Any insight on what that runs and what benefits you actually see would be appreciated. Thanks!

Since several US manufacturers of the delete kits have been nailed recently by the Feds, you might be more on your own doing this work than you would have been a couple of years ago…but this probably isn’t the advice you’re seeking

And you might try posting this in the Full-size thread. No Ram/Cummins can be considered "Domestic: Mid Size".

The dealer I used to work at wouldn't do much under the hood to one. Wouldn't touch one for a trade in either.

if you're determined I'd ask local guys that are already deleted, if you call around to shops they will probably tell you they can't do the work, and they'll probably think you're the law

Trucks are still getting deleted but regardless I’d just get the nicest 5.9 you can afford
