How to get gpx files imported into Lowrance 540

....My MapCreate 7 won't recognize them and I also tried using Lowrances' GDM utility download to convert them and still no dice. I am about ready to dump the Lowrance if this keeps up. Help.........

I have a older Lowrance IFinder. I use GpsBabel to convert gpx (and other formats) to .usr format files.

Mr. Yates, Try this small program from lowrance . It's a free program and may be what your looking for, it is supposed to convert gpx files to usr files.

Also I have a rubicon waypoint file in gpx and usr file if you still need it, it may not be what you need or are looking for but it may help.
