how to properly charge a red top optima with a schumacher xc-75

...that is the question! I'm not well versed in electrical so I'm looking for a clear answer to how to properly charge my red top optima (goes in my 97 LC) with my schumacher xc-75 battery charger. Any info would be much appreciated...I got a little confused searching on line. Thanks!

Use 10 amp setting.

Optima is an AGM battery. It is an automatic charger. Use it right after depletion of the battery, or monthly if the battery is unused during that time
