Hummer shock relocation/beef-up

Ditched the shocks on my hummer several years ago and went with airbags. Much more comfy and variable height for some massive ground clearance and those pesky low parking garages (plus chasing leaks gives me something to do in my spare time!). Still need to re-do the airlines to something more substantial but I wanted to give a huge shout out to Jason and Brian at The GMR in Huntington Beach. Excellent fab work in So Cal if anyone is looking!

here are a few snapshots:

Did jason move his shop from signal hill ? have not seen that guy in some time. Seems his business has bee growing very well, good for him.
so, tell us about the ride ? is the on road ride better then before, how about beating on it in the dirt.

Jason's biz has definitely grown. He is now in Huntington Beach and does wonderful work. I met him through a buddy who had custom a-arms made for his race hummer as well as having Jason completely re-do the trophy truck he bought from Jesse James.

I had a rock-ram improperly installed that he fixed so there is a definite improvement with the steering for starters. The new shocks are very cool and actually big enough to tame the airbags -- I haven't had a chance to test out in the dirt yet but I can feel a definite improvement running over bumps, potholes, and small cars around town.

The bags compared to the springs are really smooth. I was chipping teeth on washboard roads in the desert. Now I don't spill my martini.

I'll report more after beating on the new stuff
