Hello Everyone,
My name is Jack. I'm a college student at Georgia Southern University. For my English course we have been charged with writing an ethnography, which is the study of people within their own cultures. Instead of doing something lame, like "frat" culture, or football culture, I chose to write about the culture of "modern day explorers." It has been very interesting to me. I originally chose to write about cave diving and ocean sailing, but I think I would like to add in overland as well. So, I am in need of an interview or two from some seasoned over landers. I drive a 100 series Landcruiser and love it, so I'm not a complete outsider to the community.
Would anyone be interested in doing a short 20-ish question interview for my research? If so, leave me a message on the thread and I will post my questions and email address so I can add you in.
Please remember, I really need someone that has had a lot of experience in the over-landing "culture" to make my research valid. Your participation is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jack
