ICON Aeroshield on F150 with FWC Hawk Has anyone used this product

I have a 2015 F150 crewcab with a FWC Hawk. I was thinking about getting and installing an ICON Aeroshield I found on Amazon to eliminate all the bugs I get on the front of the camper. Has anyone tried this? I measured it out and one would fit. Thanks for any input. They cost 324$ so not a minor investment.

$324 seems kind of expensive for a piece of plastic? How high does the hawk sit above your cab?

I think you could do way cooler things with $324.

Great choice on truck BTW!

look for the Tardis thread, by overland Hadley

He did something with a thule load bar and wind deflector, I recall he thought it helped his mileage.

Not the same as this product, but the idea was similar.

The way I see it, instead of your camper front getting splattered with bugs, this shield thing does.....either way, something gets covered in bugs. I would just keep a good coat of wax on the front of your camper....makes it easier to clean the bugs off....and you save some money

Tap Plastics and a single roof rack bar. Little trimming, couple of simple brackets, spray paint the back of the clear plastic and you have a custom deflector that looks good for 1 10th the cost.

Invest in a mild suspension lift system. Sparing all that expensive body hardware would buy a lot of camper wax.
