Ideas For Layout Maintaining Fwd Facing Rear Seat?

I’m torn here. I really like the sink cabinet behind driver and the side bench/bed behind that like Corneilius did but I really want to have a forward facing seat with belts to keep at least two passengers safe. I use the e350 often just to carry work and play stuff from one place to the other more than we go out camping.

I’m leaning towards maybe getting a sofa bed style bench now to replace what I have and then sink/stove behind that? It just seems like I’m gonna hate having galley stuff in the back.

Any ideas??

Ive been chewing on the idea of adding half of a 60/40 bench seat on quick release mounts next to my sink. Something with built in seat belts, and quick release feet. Suburban second row or something, might take some junkyard shopping.

I was quite pleased with the lay-out of my old van I'm replicating/improving it on my new van. Middle row from a Tahoe, mounted on the bottom frame of the van seat. Legs are cut and move back a little bit for more leg room. Galley will contain the fridge, micro and few drawers. Removable to replace with captain chairs. Sink and faucet will be on the space between the seat and the van wall, mounted low so the faucet can work inside the van (little sink) and from outside (bucket on the door step) .

Thanks. I’ll check out your thread. I just love these moments of freak out trying to figure how to accomplish something followed by the sigh of relief or ********** on the head when the idea finally shows up.
