Indel 50 gets a little cousin

Love my Indel B 50 but it is bulky and hard to use for quick day trips, so I was on amazon when I saw the Dometic 11L and 18L fridges one holds a six pac the other a 12pac so I went with the 18L thinking its good for day trips and when over landing/camping I can use both one as a fridge and one as a freezer. Anybody have experience with the Dometic 18L. And any pointers when using 2 fridges?

Did something similar just recently. I used my engel 17 as a freezer, and my engel 35 as frig. The 35 is too big/heavy/bulky so I sold it and got a Dometic 11. I may have to reload a few water bottles at a time but it works great. If I plan my food correctly and pack smartly the new arrangement will be better than the old. I power them both off 2 goal zero briefcase panels running to a goal zero yeti 400 battery. No issues at all given nice enuf weather to have some sun during the day

I am running mine off jeep during the day and off an Odessy 27 yellowtop with a 100 watt solar panel the rest of the time. Plan for now is leave 18 in jeep and leave the 50 in camp on the solar
