Indoor cooktop (and maybe heat) suggestions?

Specing out the M725 build again. The co-hab is at requesting that there be at least some sort of cook top inside the vehicle (should have room) .

The truck will be gas for now. Will likely have some propane onboard for grilling. Will also have a decent battery bank and solar/wind power available.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jason

Something like that might be useful to have around.. But I'm thinking of something like a 1-2 burner cooktop.

I've seen the Waas diesel ones that also double as a heater, which is nice. I'm just trying to keep this vehicle to 2 fuels and not 3.

Thanks,
Jason

cooktop

Hey Alosix,

I'm glad you are posting here on E.P. I was following your M725 build on
M715zone. It is good to see that there is at least one other m725 in the
S.F. bay area. I've only had my 725 for about 2 months but I plan on turning it into an expedition vehicle.
Here are a couple of cooktop options:

The last two are featured in the summer 09 edition of the Overland Journal.

I don't have the truck here yet :) Working on getting it short enough for DAS to ship it out (84" limit on a 85" truck ) Found some 30" tires that should get it down to a good height for them. Still needs some cooling work and 4th + 5th gear working on the 545rfe before I'd drive it accross country.

I've been looking at this stove:

A little pricey, but I really like how it turns into 'counter' space when not in use. The gimble should also make cooking easier if the truck isn't sitting very level.

Would you by chance mind if I came over and measured your truck? I won't have my hands on mine until november and I don't have any really good measurements of the box on hand..

Thanks
Jason

Measurements

Jason,
Thanks for the marine equipment site, lots of good stuff.
For measuring my truck it might be easier to tell me what measurements that
you need and it would save you a 100 mile round trip from Santa clara.
