what's up everyone.

Love the forum

I want to mount some hammock's inside my camper shell to stow away sleeping bags and whatnot. Does anyone know how to mount hooks or clip inside a camper shell? I'd prefer a non drilling method.

Any ideas are welcome

Thanks

I can't picture your application but zipties come to mind. Maybe ziptie a hook to a support brace???

Fiberglass or epoxy a 3/4 plywood pad up there, and screw in an anchor. Check out West System products.

I too have been thinking about installing some gear hammocks on my taco. I haven't given it much thought though...I think Scott and Chris put some in the taco the are using for the arctic expedition...I would love to see some pics if you get it figured out! Cheers!

First off , sorry for the typos in my preveious post.

I am really afraid of drilling into my shell for fear of leaks. I do however have roof rack drilled in with some leftover room on the bolts. I was thinking of screwing on some wingnuts to use as hooks. That's about as far as my mechanical mind has taken me.

You could just make up a J Hook. Drill the right size hole for the rack bolt in a piece of flat stock then bend the other end into an open loop.
