Cutting a pinch weld and resealing it is not a small job. First, eat your Wheaties and maybe have a few beers. This will help you get the nerve to do what needs to be done. Now, you will need a large hammer, welder, air saw, grinder, replacement sheet metal (not needed all the time, just handy just in case), body filler, primer, paint and undercoat.
At a minimum you can just pound, cut or grind the pinch weld flat. Since it is a pinch weld, you will need to re-weld any section to give back the seal that is made between two pieces of sheet metal. Before re-welding near the cab, REMOVE THE CARPET then put a wet towel over the weld area on the inside of the cab.
Then use the body filler, paint and undercoat to make it rust proof and pretty again.
That is the short and sweat of the process. What you do is up to you but if you don’t think you can do this project or have major concerns just don’t do it. It is expensive to replace fenders. If you are ready for this, send me a PM and I will give better directions on the process and try to help as much as possible over email so you don’t mess up.
