Instant Tent with Hinged Door... is it a Unicorn???

We currently use the CORE 12 Person Instant Cabin Tent for my wife, 3 young boys (ages 3, 5 & 7) & myself.

I like the size, but wouldn't mind something a little smaller. The one thing that kills me is having to zip & unzip the tent every time we go in or out.

I've searched high & low, but it seems that if it's a true Instant Tent, they don't come with hinged doors & if it has hinged doors, they're only available in conventional set up, or Coleman makes a "Fast-Pitch" version.

Does anyone make a true Instant Tent (not "Fast-Pitch") with hinged doors that sleeps 8+?

We own the Coleman Montana and I can say it has been a great tent, surviving several long weekends with teenage boys using it as a cabin, a boathouse, a tree house and a garage for mountain bikes. It has been bomber. And the hinged door is really slick.

There is a really good resource on the best instant tents that includes the CORE models you mentioned, they have a newer lighted model that may have a hinged door so it might be worth a check. Or you can have a look at tents that connect to vehicles like SUV tents or truck bed tents for example.

We have the Coleman Bayside 6 tent and we love it. Can't realistically fit 6, though, unless everyone is in mummy bags. We went on a trip this weekend with me, my wife and our 9 year old. 3 cots and plenty of room for our gear. The hinged door is REALLY convenient
