Interchangable Decks on a trailer

I just wanted everyone's opinion on something. I want to build a roof top tent trailer using my HF 4x8 ft utility trailer. the only problem is that I need that trailer for just more than camping. I was thinking about a 2 rail system where there would be 2 metal or wood rails mounted to the trailer and on the decks that would bolt or pin down to each other. I have a need for a flatbed deck, a bike rack, kayak rack, and a camp gear trailer.

All your input is greatly appreciated!!!! :ylsmoke: :wings:

Sorry, but it's not clear what you have in mind. You might check out a Jumping Jack which is a basic utility trailer with a pop-up style tent. Also Coleman made a utility trailer which was more of a toy hauler; bikes, kayaks, etc. Look these up for ideas.

The Idea I have is I already have a Harbor Freight 4x8 folding trailer that I want to use different decks on for different uses. Im just trying to figure the best and safest way to mount the different decks to the trailer in a way that I can change the trailer into a flatbed or a camper or a bike-rack etc.

Not sure if this is really along the lines of what you want but I made this out of my little modified 4x4 habor freight trailer.

Everything is bolted to the frame and if I need it to be a flatbed it's just 8 bolts to take everything off.
