Interior lighting upgrades

A few months ago there was a good discussion on rock lights, and I ended up ordering a couple of sets of these - http://www.dx.com/p/109076

The galley area has one big fluorescent bolted up under the cabinet for task lighting. I've never like the light it throws - concentrated in one area and not the greatest light quality.

I fashioned a switch box by cutting an opening in a household wiring box and painting it black - worked perfectly.

Then installed LED strips - 4 to the left and 3 to the right

Since we like to keep our night vision for looking at the stars, also installed some reds - the switch has two on positions, so you can select red or white easily.

Finally, upgraded the lights in the stove (under the exhaust hood)

How do you like those LED's? They look perfect for replacing my flourescent tubes. They are sold out though :(

Very pleased with them. I'm sure they are sold elsewhere, that's just where I got them from. Easier to work with than the really long strips, IMHO. The long rolls of LEDs require soldering, where these have built-in pig tails, just makes it simple.
