Not sure if this is the same rack, but you might want to specify in your FS ad for that land cruiser that the rack is not included. I was pretty jiggy about the vehicle until I saw that it might not be included. Might save some heartburn all around if you specify what is and is not included with the vehicle.

Matt is a stand up guy from best I can tell.
I was going to purchase this rack from him for my Classic Range Rover, but alas, it will not fit. Only the racks made for the 60 series Toyotas will fit the Classics.

I am sure if you are interested in his truck and rack, he will sell as a package to you.

Just sayin'

I'm confused. I thought the 60/62 were pretty much the same body (with the exception of the lights, grill, etc.)?

Matt and I both measured. His rack, and my Range Rover Classic. The rack is 54" wide and the Classic is 58 inches wide. It will not fit a Range Rover Classic without major modification (i.e.: removal of the great designed Inti clamps and the use of some other type of cross bars, etc.)
It is a shame really, as I have been looking for one for a year.
Additionally, you should know, there are also 2 lengths of these racks. Every one I have ever seen on a Range Rover Classic has 4 clamps per side, and the ones on the Toyotas only have 3 clamps per side.

The following is an e-mail from Alvaro (La Cabra) regarding this rack:
The 80 series rack (the one on the FJ62) is 54 inches wide. Narrower than the 60 and your rig.
I'm sure the one for the 60 series is 58". The INTI roof rack mounts are not width adjustable.
To get that rack on your truck you'll have to modify the mounting system significantly.

Regards

Alvaro

I am saying this just so someone isn't disappointed by the hard to find facts about these racks. I would hate for someone to purchase it for their truck only to get it and it not fit.

Carry on.
Thanks

INTI makes a 3/4 length and full length rack. The 3/4 has 3 feed, the full 4 feet. I've got a 3/4 and adventureduo has a full. Great racks! You'd have to find a used one. The only guy that imported them - Alvaro (LaCabra) brought in 20 3/4 racks and sold them thru Gary at Mudrak. It was such a PITA for Alvaro that he's not importing any more, not to mention the skyrocketing prices to do so, making it not viabe at all price wise.

Man, this could be so easy. I would have you drop it off at my company in Southfield and they could ship it to me here in SF. If only I was not on vacation and had a little more time and money to deal with it.
I have been dreaming of an Inti rack forever!

I can work with you on the timing. Southfield would be easy as a drop off point. As you can see by the posts on this thread, they're are hard to find now.
