New member here, mostly a watch & learn for me. I'm 67 and recently retired. Live in northern Minnesota. Usually make 1 or 2 trips a year to Wyoming or Montana.
Been building "crude" homemade campers for a few years now for my western hunting trips. Wrecked my Silverado with a deer collision last fall and my 8' plywood slide in won't fit in my "new to me" 2007 crew cab silverado. So looking at another build. I have an old mini L palomino which will be a donor (ie; fridge, furnace, heco lift, etc.).
Today's question; has anyone installed a larger pilot observation port glass on their old hydro flame? It's really hard to see when lighting for these old eyes.

This build started with the pop-up and progressed to a hard side. My build thread ended up on the "hard side" threads. Take a look over There if interested.
