iPad external aux battery? Need longer run times...

Just wondering if anyone's using an external battery pack for their iPad? I have an iPad 1 that I use daily and it sometimes runs out of juice before the end of the day. I also want to use it for an upcoming flight I'll be taking in a couple of months to Australia. Just wondering what's out there. TIA.

There are tons of these out there. I have one from Brookstone that will do 1.5 full charges on my iPhone.

I think there are restrictions to carrying a loose (ie extra) battery as carry on. Better check before doing. There are some adapters to charge iPad batteries on some airplanes.

I have never had a problem carrying mine. And I haven't seen any adapters unless you are in business class traveling international.

You can charge the iPad on the flight, there are going to be outlets.
