Is it safe to screw a Goose Gear utility try to a Goose Gear Camp Kitchen slide?

At the risk of being beaten (gently) with a Murder Spork, what's the best way to attach one of these bad boys?

Goose Gear provides two holes, but not sure if I should drill through the wood bottom, or just use wood screws?

I know, first world problem...

I don’t know why you couldn’t especially if you don’t have any interference from anything else.

Sounds like putting nail holes in a freshly painted wall.

Take the time to drill a pilot hole first appropriately sized for the screw and you will have nicer time installing it.

Makes sense, drill the hole first, then use a wood screw, or a machine screw. Hoping I don't split the wood or even worse the hole goes through the bottom. LOL
