ISSUE with Dometic Go 11L water Jug

ISSUE with Dometic Go 11L water Jug "Hydration system".

The 2.5" lid cap cracked, due to air pressure while sitting in hot garage. I should have opened the airflow valve a little, but didn't think of it. Most water containers can flex due to air inside heating up, but the Dometic jug is rigid. Luckily, jug is ok, just the lid top was a weak point. Dometic is gonna send me a new one, I think, but didn't have any in stock today when I called for warranty.
Anyways, just a heads-up to crack open the air valves or fill lids on water bottles a bit, if stored in hot areas!

Good to know. I was thinking about trying one of those out. Seems like a neat unit. I am really digging some of their gear lately.

Update, Dometic had me send them a pic of cracked lid, pic of serial# sticker, and puc of receipt which they accepted my credit card statement. About a week later I got a new cap in the mail.

All good, warranty service was direct through Dometic via their 800 phone
