Jack pads...plastic, rubber or wood?

I’m looking for recommendations on what to use under the feet of my jacks, for both storage purposes(paved driveway) but also on gravel(certain campgrounds we frequent) if we unload from the truck.
I see that Camco makes a plastic version(seems slippery) and a rubber version. I’m also open to the idea of cutting my own out of plywood if that’s a better option.
Just curious what ya’ll have already found that works on multiple surfaces. Thanks for the help!

I appreciate the replies fellas!
Wood sounds like it might be best for a loose gravel situation. The metal feet seem to be fine on the driveway but I hadn't considered rust..
Think the plywood needs to be 12" squares or could I get away with something smaller?

The weight of the camper would determine the size you will need. Camping on gravel or compacter dirt you could possibly get away with 9" X 9". If you get into soft dirt or sand a bit bigger, may be required.

With this being just a cab-over camper you could get 1/2" plywood and glue and screw, 2 pieces together. The second piece of plywood could be smaller by 2" (example; a bottom piece that is 9" X 9" the top could be a7" X 7"). Do not use particle board, wafer board or flake board. These will fall apart in a short time.

What ever you use make sure to seal it up good from the weather.

I ran with 12" X 12" for my 30' Motor-home they were 1 1/8" plywood.

The use of 2" X 10" or 12" wood is a very good chance of it splitting on you.

My plywood pads are 0ver 15 years old and solid.

Thanks for the tips! Camper is around 2,800 lbs wet.
