Jackson Hole, Wyoming

We desert rats left the pre-summer heat to enjoy a week in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The summer solstice and our second anniversary to boot. It was our first time there and we loved it.

Not too much wild adventuring with a bun in Lois' oven, but hanging out and taking in the scenery sure hit the spot. We rented the rugged Overland Corolla and visited some of Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone.

Awesome....but now I hate you:sombrero:...JH is one of my most favorite places in the US. I would kill to live there, its so close to some of the greatest scenery this country has to offer. Those two parks are beyond words.

Glad you had a good time in my "home"....

Sometimes us locals need to stop for a minute and realize we are privledged to live, work and play here! I try to do it once a day! Hopefully you only got the tail end of this nasty spring we have been having. It was trying to snow here about 10 days ago and the sun only came out about 5 days ago. Nearly 3 months of nothing but cold, wet, rain and snow. March was the nicest month we have had this year! Not like it is out of the ordinary...I have seen it snow 4" in JH on the 4th of July!

Nice pics. My daughter and I were just up there last tues-fri. We only spent a day in Jackson then took some horses up into the mountains and camped for the rest of the time. It's beautiful up there.
