Definitely a fair price. These sell for over $20K all the time on Bring a Trailer. You might be a bit light on the asking price.
I sold my CJ for the same reason 40 years ago, which put us into a 1979 F250 CrewCab for 15 years, back when CrewCabs were not cool.
