This is a safari write on a trip my wife and I did from Johannesburg to Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar a while ago and we looked into some of the softer options WRT accommodation and looked at the B&Bs, and other more formal options. We had the older travelers in mind, like us, who have done more than our fair share of rough and really off road camping the length and breadth of Southern and East Africa.
