Yeah man, Brad's maroon truck here in Salida is 3.0 w/AC, but technically so is mine- I left my entire A/C system intact since most people are able to simply swap the pulleys and let 'er rip. Mine didn't end up being quite so simple but everything is still there for the time being. I'll get some photos of it for you in the next few days.

Hope you guys can make it back to the big S this summer to play!

Crenshaw,
Sweet! I forgot that, I dont know why I didnt think to look how your lines were ran when we were looking at your swap!
I think I may contact YodaJims just for extra info on it and maybe to source the AC push button for the dash. I definitely hope we can make it back out to Salida this summer, and hit up the river and go camping! That would be awesome. Thanks again man!!

Thanks DeskToGlory and huntsonora. We were looking into make installing them to be removable if I ever decide to repaint the truck or do anything significant down the road but the angle was to sharp to allow it without a body lift. Im super happy with the finished product and now really wanting to figure out a rear bumper setup/ possible swingout.

Still haven't gotten around to getting any photos of the A/C routing! Sorry man. Definitely will this weekend. Also I'm positive the a/c button was in a ziploc with some assorted hardware with all the other stuff. Let me know if you still can't find it.

Also what's the lift? Ball joint spacers up front? And ome leaves in the rear? What size tires too? And did you re-gear?

Are you talking about Brad Stucko? We ran into him in Rio Dulce, Guatemala. He ran up to us and was like, "Your truck is the wallpaper on my phone!" If that's not who you're talking about, just ignore the hijack ;)

Sweet ride! As for adding A/C I hear that dealerships added A/C to 22r/re trucks and 4runners. Not sure about the V6 though. Here is a link from yotatech where a guy added A/C to his 85 pickup for like $400. Seems totally reasonable. Said he got his parts from a toyota recycler in Rancho Cordova CA. Give them a call, they might be able to send you all the parts you need!

I really should have done this...

You bet, that's Brad! He told us about running into you on his way back north. His parents were some of our first friends we made when we moved to Salida years ago.
Small world!
