Well after years of being a dog lover, I have finally got to the point where I am able to own a dog and give him the attention he requires. I had been looking at Siberian Huskies for a while, but after meeting a few, they are just too high strung for my lifestyle. So this past Saturday I found Tucker. He is a former show Alaskan Malamute. He decided he did not like the show circuit so his owners put him up for sale. He is such a great boy. He is 2 years old and has an amazing disposition. We are starting obedience school Saturday to get down some basic commands, but other than that he is by far one of the most well behaved dogs I have met. Oh, and he loves to ride in the truck, and made the 4 hour ride home without a problem. Aka, perfect expedition companion! Just thought I would gloat a little. Below are some pics.
