Just picked up a 2wd 92 WD21

Well after a hiatus of not having anything I could even try to use an expedition vehicle, I just recently picked up a 92 WD21 Pathfinder. 145k, in good shape overall. My only complaint is it's a 2wd and an automatic. But I figure for just trail running out in West Texas or when I go home to NM it will do just fine once I put some ATs on it. I'm trying to find a decent roof rack for it (that I can get a tray and also kayak attachments, since I am about to start kayaking), and a brush guard. Other that, just some cleaning up, maybe a mild lift to clear 31s or so, and maybe replacing the wheels with alloys (the salt air down in Galveston sucks for steels)

Any good places to find stuff for these WD21s? Seems like parts for them are hard to come by

WD21s are great! They will take a beating. I'd check out 4x4parts .com - they specialize in Nissan lifts/armor.

it should fit 31's as it stands. I really love these trucks. Made me appreciate Nissan. Really well made and tough vehicles.

Hmmm I have a friend that has a wrecked 1994 4wd Pathfinder. The idea of getting his driveline and converting it sounds kinda fun. But that'll wait until I get a second vehicle I think.

I am not sure what terrain you cover, but to me a 4x4 is worth at least 16 time more than a 2WD. Math humour aside, if it were me I would definitely look very close into converting it to a 4WD

Out where I am right now is mostly beaches and bayou, so I'm not sure where to offroad... i most lilely will build it for extended camping trips in the desert of west Texas and NM. If I can get the driveline cheap enough the conversion will happen :) maybe a SAS too if I can source parts and figure out a good plan for it
