I've been lurking for a couple of months and finally joined the forum today.
I started building a 4x4 E250 van after a recent trip to Moab Utah. I've got the 2002 ford F350 front end complete, I'm working on building custom bumpers today and next week I'll be installing a new Sterling 10.5 rear end. I have a friend who works for a solar panel installation company and in exchange for some marketing I'll be covering the roof of the van with solar panels. You can follow my progress at http://4wheeldrivevan.com and I thank you already for all the info I've gained here during my last couple months of lurking. I should have the vehicle complete later this summer and look forward to trips in the American northwest and if it proves to be reliable maybe even a trip to Alaska.
Cheers, and thanks for having me!
