we used it behind our echo,did not even know it was
there!.
ideal for small ute we have used it with our chevy tracker.
spare tire,rack for ice chest and propane.
screens zippers all perfect and work.

Can the lid of this thing hold cargo? (i.e. a 400lb motorcycle)?

i would not try to haul a cycle on it,in my opinion way to top heavy.
maybe a honda trail 90!
all we hauled on top was camp chairs and large chest with camp equipt
(stove,food etc.)
