Great trip! Gen and I used a company called canyon lands by night to run our vehicle to the end of the trip. We put in at their place. It's flat water the whole way. Easy to do. Pack plenty of water and food the 18 miles can take 4-8 hours depending on water levels and how many times you stop to explore.
We started mid day in August I think 2 p.m. It was really hot will about 4:30 or 5. We got to the take out right at dark. about 8p.m.

Bat cave We were swarmed with bats for the last 2 hours of the trip. They were all over the river feeding.

THis was a really great trip and was surprised to see that Canyonlands by night did not really do much to promote it.
