Kitanica Brush Pants?

Anyone have any experience with these or this company?

I normally wear Carhartts and Dickies, but have been looking at some other options.

Made in the US is a plus.

Thoughts?

The Made in USA Duluth stuff is priced not far off of this. Comparing these to the imported Duluth is not quite a fair comparison, a least for those concerned with such details.

These look good but look super loose and baggy. Carhartt, Duluth and the like are constructed far too relaxed for me. I am waiting to bite on a pair of these: http://shop.outlier.cc/shop/retail/nycoslims.html (the "action" pics are admittedly a bit lame)

Those look good.

I really like slimmer cut pants, I used to wear Levi 514s (slim straight) but after I went through 5 in the last two years, I stopped buying them.

I like the heavy canvas work pants, but just wished I could find one with a slimmer leg. That's why I was looking at the Kitanica, it looked slimmer, but its hard to tell from the pictures and I'm hesitant to drop $100 just to find out I don't like the way it fits.

I'm with you on this. I also really like the 514 cut and would be interested in these if they can fit the bill.

Ive looked at some if their cargo pants, price also very steep.. Write the company and ask them to measure a pair in the size you need. For example waist 32 inseam 30. Then ask them to provide the measurement at the top middle and bottom of thigh and again of the leg at top middle and bottom when the pants are flat. Then you can measure your 514 and compare. I am also not a fan of baggy clothes and have requested the info from a number of manufacturers and always got answers which helped me make decision to buy or not

Those Kitanicas look nice. I'm might try a pair. I've got some Wranglers and Levis ready for the bin and their my old 40" fat bastard pants. Keezer's a snug 36' now but that's not why we're here.

Here's one you might check out. Pics suck but you can find better pics searching around:

Made in the USA, inexpensive, 14.75 ounce cotton, putting idle hands to work, and their pay goes to help pay their room and board amongst other things.

Prison Blues

Next week I think I'll try their double knee work pants at $36.

I wish I could find a pant like this that will let me get out in the WET bushes and let me come home Dry!! All the wet weather pants I see dont seem like a good true bush pant and would easily rip where I go...

I believe some of the Filson Tin and Shelter cloth pants would work best for this activity. Though I have no personal experience with them.

I have a pair of Kitanica pants from their tactical line. You'll find them to be of a more, "athletic cut" and sized on the smaller side of the spectrum, The same is true of Vertx, which I like and wear a lot and Massif, which makes several types of outdoor/tactical pants in stretch fabrics, like you'll find from the likes of Patagonia, North Face, REI, etc. You may find the price point for Vertx and Massif more to your liking.

So I ended up ordering some Mountain Khaki's Original Broadway Fit off of Amazon for $48. Since they are supposed to be cut slimmer I decided I would give it a try, if I didn't like them I would just send them back.

I got them last Tuesday and I absolutely love them. I wore them on the flight from Seattle to Hawaii, and have been wearing them while we hike around Volcano National Park.

I will probably end up buying another pair.

Here's me wearing them (size 40x30) on the Crater Rim Trail:

Haven't tried the Mountain Khakis yet but have been rocking Keen Footwear for a decade. Great boots and shoes for my uses.
